Daon's Seamus McKenna was interviewed for a piece in the Irish Times highlighting Accenture's successful partnerships with companies in Ireland. Accenture Ireland’s managing director, Mark Ryan, stated that Accenture is always interested in new ideas and technologies that can give it the edge.

The media is buzzing about a new virus which has hit Europe and resulted in theft of a reported €47 Million. The virus, named Eurograbber, is the first to move from infecting the PC and then transferring to infect the individual's mobile device. It enables the hackers to intercept SMS/text messages sent by banks to authenticate transactions during an online banking session and use them to start a second session in real-time.

McAfee announced on October 22 that IdentityX, a Daon affiliate, has joined its Security Innovation Alliance (SIA).
