Credential Create is a highly flexible and extensible Smart Card Management System (SCMS) that simplifies the production of personalized smart card credentials, containing the card holders’ identity information (including biometrics), and management of the credentials throughout their lifetime.

The product supports full credential lifecycle management support, enhanced support for smartcard standards (PIV, PIV-I, PIV-C, ICAO BAC) and support for additional card platforms (card chip + applet).

Credential Create’s open modular architecture allows for ease of integration with a wide variety of 3rd party systems and components, such as Identity Management Systems, Certificate Authorities, Cryptographic Modules and Card Production Systems. This flexibility and extensibility can reduce the complexity, risk and overall cost of deploying and maintaining a smart card management solution.

The product also uses a separate Identity Management System to manage its identity information. This removes the complexity and cost of creating and maintaining a separate identity silo specifically for the SCMS.

Credential Create can be deployed either with other Daon products within Daon’s Identity Assurance platform (to handle identity enrollment, identity management, background checking, biometric matching, and user access management) or alternatively with equivalent 3rd party software systems.
